A quilted engine to display my passion for cars as a woman. I was inspired by my shared love of automobiles with my father and my bond with my mother over sewing. Through this quilt, I was able to blend these traditionally masculine and feminine interests.

Modular Pet Housing Unit

Keeping different sleeping habits of my family and friends’ dogs and cats in mind, I created a pet housing unit that can be rearranged to suit many animals’ different preferences. Individual rooms can be made, as well as platforms for shared spaces and ramps to travel between levels.

I created a modular lamp that can be rearranged to fit into irregular, awkward spaces, such as between shelves or in small corners of rooms.
Pet Center

After observing both the mental benefit and monetary strain that pet ownership placed on my grandmother, I designed a space where elderly individuals can interact with dogs without the financial burden of pet ownership. Older adults can experience the mental and emotional benefits from time spent with pets, while rescue dogs in need can experience love and stimulation from visitors.
